Heroes Walk Among Us primary mission is to keep veterans and their families off the street.  HWAU House makes that possible to fulfill this mission. Our housing has been donated or we work with local lenders to find reasonable financing to purchase the property for our veterans.

We work to make sure that when a veteran family hits hard times, that they have the support necessary to keep American Heroes from becoming homeless. We help keep them in their homes by charitable donations, debt analysis, and counseling. If a veteran is homeless, we place that veteran and their family in permanent housing that is affordable. Our current project is the renovation of two apartment buildings that will house 8 veterans and their families.

HWAU houses has been donated or reasonable financing has been arranged for us to purchase the property to house our veterans.
